<\/a><\/p>\nThe ballet was The Little Mermaid. The girls were very excited and so we took the tickets. The plan was to have them sit with Roberta’s friend Jen so that they would not be alone at the performance. So at noon we loaded in the car. I took Jaime and Alix to San Jose (south of us) and left there at 1:15. Took Milo to north Fremont (almost Union City) for a birthday party at 2. Left there, grabbed bread from someone’s house, ran a quick errand and was back in San Jose by 3. Dropped the girls off at home, picked up all the stuff I needed and headed to the church. Scott then had to go pick up Milo, get all the girls dressed and be at the church by 5 to BBQ some sausages for the ward party. <\/p>\n
The theme of the party was Medieval Magic. Our activities directory is amazing when it comes to party ideas and implementing them. She did a GREAT job of turning our cultural hall into an arena. Have you ever been to one of those Medieval Times places? <\/p>\n I went to one on my senior trip many years ago. This was as close as you could get to simulating one of those places in a cultural hall. Everyone sat around in a semi-circle with the Knights sitting at the head of the \u201cU\u201d. <\/p>\n They had to joust, kill a dragon and entertain 150 people for 45 minutes! They also had juggling and Knights in training contests (Milo and Toby were the Knights in training). It really was a super fun night. <\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>
