For a couple of years now Scott has wanted to go visit his parents during Cattle Call (a big week long event that includes a parade and a rodeo). So at the beginning of this year when we were talking about the trips we would go on this year, Cattle Call in November was top on the list.<\/p>\n
Scott was gone for a conference in Las Vegas the first part of the week. He got home in the early evening of Wednesday November 10. We had a quick dinner, put the kids to bed and packed like mad. We were all packed up and in bed by 11pm. <\/p>\n
We got up and left at 5am Thursday morning and headed for Dean’s house in L.A. We showed up about 11 and picked up Dean from work. We spent the next 2 hours walking to the park, eating lunch and walking back to Dean and Ally’s. It was so fun to see Blaire again. Even though it’s only been a month since we’ve seen her, she looked so different already! Babies grow too fast!<\/p>\n
We were back on the road to Brawley about 2. We arrived in Brawley just in time for dinner. We had pulled pork sandwich’s and sweet potato fries. So yummy! We settled everyone pretty early and I was in bed sleeping by about 9:30am. It felt so good!!<\/p>\n
