Scott and I celebrated our 13 year anniversary on September 4! What a fun milestone to hit. We are in the teens. Seems like a long time and yet it has flown. In a few short years I will have been a Thompson as long as I was a Sutherland!! <\/p>\n
Labor Day weekend was our weekend to be done with the front yard. So in preparation of finishing that we didn’t plan anything anniversary related. We did do TONS of yard work. But we also did TONS of house work, church work and went to a swim party\/bbq on Monday. So even though there was no formal celebration of our anniversary, it was a great weekend and we felt as though we accomplished a lot which always makes us happy!<\/p>\n
I’m so grateful and VERY blessed to have Scott. The Lord knows me so well and knew Scott was who I needed. I feel blessed that we met when we were 16. I know the Lord knew that when I got older I would have this misconception that I needed to know my future spouse for at least 5 years before I’d marry him (even though it was only 4 years and 9 months, but really, whose counting….).<\/p>\n
Scott is so wonderful. He’s good with his kids (they would prefer to spend time with fun loving dad any day). He’s so handy. I know that he can fix any problem. He’s honest. He loves me unconditionally which in and of itself is amazing. He’s smart. Driven. Accomplished. He’s spiritual and very willing to answer the call of Heavenly Father no matter what it might be. <\/p>\n
He’s so amazing and I am so blessed. Can’t wait to spend the next 50 years and then into eternity with this guy!<\/p>\n
