New Years eve was destined to be boring. It was Saturday night and we didn’t want the kids tired for church the next day. Also, I had to write a talk and so I didn’t want to be up too late.<\/p>\n

We ended up having the missionaries for dinner. They didn’t have a place to go so we were glad to host them. We get along with the missionaries very well and they enjoy coming to our home. I’m sure in a few years they will enjoy it even more…. :o)<\/p>\n

Anyway, we had a good time and I think they enjoyed the fun things we did because it was New Years.<\/p>\n

We did a bbq so we threw on some extra wood and did marshmellows afterwards. The kids had a great time.<\/p><\/div>\n

After the missionaries left we put the kids to bed and I went into talk writing mode. I realized after I was done Jaime and Alix and Scott were upstairs watching a movie. I went up to see what it was before going off to bed and got sucked into watching Steal Magnolias. Such a good movie, but a little more crude than I remember it being. We all laughed hysterically till midnight and then we were off to slumber land. Bummer, I really wanted a good nights sleep for my talk in the morning.
