<\/a>Pecan Pie with candles and it's not even November!<\/p><\/div>\n
I always ask what my family wants for their birthday dinner and how they want me to decorate their cake. It’s a fun tradition that the kids, and Scott, look forward to. <\/p>\n
<\/a>See the yummy cinnamon rolls. Scott is so awesome!<\/p><\/div>\n
So back in January when we were talking about his birthday, Scott said he wanted a turkey dinner for his birthday. Since his birthday landed on Sunday I knew I’d have to do it on Saturday instead. We invited a couple of families over and had a WONDERFUL time.<\/p>\n
<\/a>I didn't put 35 candles on the pie, but I should have!!<\/p><\/div>\n
Scott took Milo to a free fishing thing that morning. Then he came home and relaxed while I finished cooking. We made all the traditional turkey dinner foods. I even made the rolls so he wouldn’t have to! He did roll them out though. He enjoys it.<\/p>\n

Since we’ve been married Scott has mentioned time and time again how much he loves Pecan Pie. That is one pie I had never made and actually hadn’t had till I was an adult. So I thought I’d make it for him as a surprise for his birthday. It turned out to be super easy and the only ingredient I had to buy was pecans. He was surprised and said it was the best one he’d had. Thanks babe!<\/p>\n
<\/a>Alix made it for him in sewing. She is SO good.<\/p><\/div>\n
Sunday we opened presents and had left overs. Oh boy were they yummy! We had left overs for 4 more days. SO YUMMY. We were sad when they were gone. But all good things must come to an end. <\/p>\n
