<\/a><\/p>\nHer birthday landed on a Sunday too, and boy what a GREAT Sunday! Jaime gave a talk that day in Sacrament meeting and started off her talk by wishing Alix a happy birthday. That set the precedence for the rest of church. Everyone was wishing her happy birthday and she got extra treats in her classes. So fun for her! Her purse was bulging from the treats she brought home because she couldn’t eat them all!!<\/p>\n
Alix’s best and most favorite gift was the one she made herself. She sewed her very own Sunday dress. Then her sewing teacher took her out and bought her a pair of shoes and purse to match! So beautiful. Alix looked like a princess. I think she even felt like one!<\/p>\n Alix’s sewing teacher, Sister Black<\/p><\/div>\n Her siblings and grandparents provided the rest of her gifts. So nice and so generous. Thanks everyone!!<\/p>\n Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!<\/p><\/div>\n She’s been on this Cheez-Its kick. She was super happy to have her very own box!<\/p><\/div>\n Smarties, her absolute favorite candy.<\/p><\/div>\n Can’t see it but Milo got her a reusable water bottle.<\/p><\/div>\n Our home teachers gave her bag full of all kinds of treats and smelly lotion<\/p><\/div>\n Quite the loot!<\/p><\/div>\n Dinner was bbq hamburgers, sweet potato fries, sour cream and onion potato chips and gapes and cantaloupe. All Alix’s idea!<\/p>\n Dig in!<\/p><\/div>\n She was so excited for her food…..<\/p><\/div>\n Mmmmm good! Thanks dad for bbq’ing<\/p><\/div>\n Since Alix just had a post all about her<\/a>, I’ll just reiterate how much we love and appreciate Alix. <\/p>\n Fancy A made out of chocolate cake and vanilla frosting colored purple. Unfortunately the icing was VERY soft and didn’t stay on the cake too well. I guess the heat of the day didn’t help either.<\/p><\/div>\n She is growing into such a beautiful and well rounded young lady. <\/p>\n Alix LOVED the cake!<\/p><\/div>\n She sews like a champ and LOVES it. <\/p>\n That looks like a LOT of candles. I think it’s because the cake is so small.<\/p><\/div>\n She LOVES to read. <\/p>\n Alix wanted to invite our neighbors over to enjoy cake and ice cream with us.
