Niah celebrated her 8th birthday on November 19. Seems so unreal to me that I have 4 kids over the age of accountability. Sure makes me<\/strong> feel a lot more accountable too!! Wow! <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Niah had a very good birthday. She is part of a girls book club that just happened to be meeting on her birthday. She enjoyed going to that. She took cupcakes to share and that was fun for her. Almost like a little birthday party.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We had dinner and presents and pumpkin pie. It was what she said she wanted. I was so glad!! :o)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Alix made Niah a scripture case for her long awaited set of scriptures she’d get at her baptism. Thanks Alix for such a wonderful skill!!<\/p><\/div>\n

My 8 favorite things about Niah:<\/p>\n

-She loves piano and tries so hard. She even self taught herself quite a few things before “real” piano lessons started. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

-She is a good friend. She always tries to make people feel wanted and loved.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

-She is a good reader. She loves to read anything and everything.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Thompson. Niah is dying to spend her money!<\/p><\/div>\n

-She wanted to know for herself if getting baptized was right. She even got a priesthood blessing. She is such a good example.<\/p>\n

Our home teacher is so attentive to our kids!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

All her loot! What kind friends and siblings and family that Niah has. We are so blessed!<\/p><\/div>\n

-She is very talented at what she tries. She is good at dance and swimming and art and sports. She is just an all around talented girl.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Mmmm, pumpkin pie!! Niah made that hat at her book club. Seems appropriate for the time of year!<\/p><\/div>\n

-She loves to laugh. That girl has a giggle that will make anyone laugh. So contagious.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

-She is good at sharing. She likes to see people happy and so she lets them play the games she plays, shares the candy she has and is free with her toys.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

-She makes me feel happy. It’s easy as a mom to get discouraged, but Niah always says the right things to make me feel good about myself as a mom.<\/p>\n
