Scott has really gotten into this HAM radio thing. I think some of our neighbors think we have lost our minds…<\/p>\n
<\/a>Apparently looking redneck gives you better reception when trying to contact other people.<\/p><\/div>\n
Alix was on the radio. Scott, Jaime, Alix and Milo all volunteered at the local community day Ducks for Bucks event. There was a radio station there, 89.3 KHOL, and Alix got on air. If I had been technologically more advanced, I would have recorded it. But alas, the memory is mine to be had! She did great and even mentioned the church and our desire to do service in the community.<\/p>\n
Keri and I have interesting conversations…. Scott is now Woodbadge Trained and Acorn Trained. GO Scott!<\/p>\n Alix played a primary song in Sacrament meeting and Afton and Niah sang along. It was beautiful and they did a fabulous job! Love my girls and their confidence.<\/p>\n We had our first water day back in April. So fun!! You never know here. One day a scorcher, the next, raining. So you take advantage of it when you can!<\/p>\n Water on the tramp. Best way to play!<\/p><\/div>\n Too crazy on the tramp for the littles so they opted to bath Gertie in our outside play toys. I’m SURE Gertie loved every minute of it….<\/p><\/div>\n Alix and Niah have been doing a lot of wonderful things with Activity Days. They had their annual “show off” for their families. They have both done a lot. Alix is almost done and is going to have to start Personal Progress. So fun for her!<\/p>\n
