{"id":6,"date":"2007-02-17T20:26:54","date_gmt":"2007-02-18T04:26:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.unboundpotential.com\/sami\/?p=6"},"modified":"2007-02-17T20:26:54","modified_gmt":"2007-02-18T04:26:54","slug":"afton-firsts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.unboundpotential.com\/sami\/?p=6","title":{"rendered":"Afton Firsts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, I finally did it. \u00c2\u00a0 I fed Afton baby rice cereal. \u00c2\u00a0 She had her first bite Thursday February 8 @ 9 am. \u00c2\u00a0 Her initial response is similar to all my children&#8217;s response the very first time&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>Afton got this great look of disgust and seem to say to me &#8216;mom, why are you feeding me cardboard? \u00c2\u00a0 I want what&#8217;s on your plate, that looks better&#8217;. \u00c2\u00a0 Of course everyone had to try and they too gave the same look, except for Niah of course, she loved it and wanted to eat all of it (we had the same thing when Niah had cereal for the first time, Milo loved it and wanted more).<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, by today, day three, she is a champ. \u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ve never had any child take to baby cereal as Afton has. \u00c2\u00a0 She was a pro by the second feeding. \u00c2\u00a0 Today she ate about a half cup of cereal twice and wanted more when she was done. \u00c2\u00a0 She loves the stuff. \u00c2\u00a0 It hasn&#8217;t helped with her night sleeping yet, I hope that comes soon. \u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;d love to have no nightly wake ups!!<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s fun to watch them grow. \u00c2\u00a0 I love these little milestones they make. \u00c2\u00a0 :0)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, I finally did it. \u00c2\u00a0 I fed Afton baby rice cereal. \u00c2\u00a0 She had her first bite Thursday February 8 @ 9 am. \u00c2\u00a0 Her initial response is similar to all my children&#8217;s response the very first time&#8230;..
