2015 was a BIG learning year for all the Thompson’s:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nScott learned that:<\/strong>
\n-Fixing cars is a good hobby
\n-Scout camp is fun for the leaders too<\/p>\n

Sami learned that:<\/strong>
\n-Being co-president of the swim team, on the charter school governance council and having multiple church callings makes for good excuses to say no….<\/p>\n

\nJaime (16) learned that:<\/strong>
\n-Failing your driving test once isn’t the end of the world
\n-Having your first date be a blind date with a hot guy is awesome
\n-Being smarter than half the college students in your class makes you want to try harder
\n-Having a \u201creal\u201d job is lucrative<\/p>\n

\nAlix (14) learned that:<\/strong>
\n-Youth dances can be fun
\n-Getting up early for seminary isn’t that bad
\n-Being a basketball athlete is a lot of work but also a lot of FUN
\n-Riding \u201creal\u201d roller coasters ROCK, especially when you ride them with your mom<\/p>\n

\nMilo (12) learned that:<\/strong>
\n-Teeth are easier to clean once you get your braces off
\n-Passing sacrament is an awesome priesthood responsibility
\n-Running a mile on the cross country team is actually quite enjoyable
\n-Achieving the Star Scout rank + 10 merit badges feels pretty good<\/p>\n

\nNiah (11) learned that:<\/strong>
\n-Running is more fun as a hobby instead of on a cross country team
\n-Winning your heat in swim team champs gets you a BIGGER ribbon than regular swim meets
\n-Keeping her 28 stuffed animals organized makes for a happier mom
\n-Taking care of kids is really fun<\/p>\n

\nAfton (9) learned that:<\/strong>
\n-Placing 8th out of 134 runners at a cross country meet is a good feeling
\n-Riding a \u201creal\u201d roller coaster isn’t as much fun as she thought
\n-Being .01 seconds away from breaking the swim team record doesn’t mean you broke it
\n-She loves cooking<\/p>\n

\n-Dancing in parades is really fun
\n-Knowing how to swim is actually super fun
\n-Jumping off the diving board is even more fun
\n-Second grade is fun but challenging<\/p>\n
