<\/a><\/p>\n-Alix had an upper and lower g.i. They found more polyps and removed them. That just means she has to go in again next year. <\/p>\n
-We enjoyed our yearly picking of pomegranates. We have a couple of older couples in the ward that love for us to come over and pick all their pomegranates. We love it too. The kids eat them like candy.<\/p>\n
-Jaime and Keri practiced for and participated in the local Festival of Lights Parade. They had such a good time and did a really good job. Keri is very good at dance just like Jaime was at this age.<\/p>\n Getting lights on the girls’ costumes for the parade. That was interesting.<\/p><\/div>\n Cute sisters!<\/p><\/div>\n Jaime loves to pose. No matter how cute she looked, she was FREEZING!!<\/p><\/div>\n Keri was cold too….<\/p><\/div>\n Sydney was in the parade too. Keri loved it.<\/p><\/div>\n Elves, Christmas trees, and santa helpers. I think there were even some presents.<\/p><\/div>\n One of the entries in the parade was this Star Wars crew. SO.FUN.<\/p><\/div>\n ‘Luke, I am your father…’<\/p><\/div>\n Another fun entry.<\/p><\/div>\n After the event we were all freezing so we came home and had Hot Chocolate and pumpkin pie. Hmmmm<\/p><\/div>\n -Afton and I hiked Mission Peak the Monday before Thanksgiving. We hiked with Molly and Emily McKune. It was super fun and a good way to start the week of constant eating!<\/p>\n The four of us made it to the top. It was pretty cold, but we made it.<\/p><\/div>\n Love this girl!<\/p><\/div>\n These two are crazy! See how it looks like they are on top of the world, there was fog right below us. As we descended we entered the fog. It was wet and cold. But so much fun!<\/p><\/div>\n Climbing on rocks and dead trees was a highlight of the hike for the girls. Making it to the top without showing how tired I was was my highlight. :o\/<\/p><\/div>\n -Niah celebrated her 11th birthday. I can’t believe in a year from now we’ll have 4 kids going to mutual. Talk about busy!<\/p>\n Niah wanted homemade pizza for her birthday dinner.<\/p><\/div>\n Anther webkinz cake. This is her second one now. Guess she really likes webkinz!<\/p><\/div>\n Niah is getting really good at drawing and creating.<\/p><\/div>\n Getting her own carton of ice cream created supreme jealousy in the weeks to follow.<\/p><\/div>\n Niah loves to draw. This has been the source of great entertainment for her.<\/p><\/div>\n This is Niah’s 4th carpet. She loves making these.<\/p><\/div>\n This puzzle was super hard! For me I guess. For every one piece I would find, Niah would put in 10….<\/p><\/div>\n -I got into a little fender bender. Really it wasn’t that bad. No damage to my car. His car sustained a bit more but was easily taken care of through insurance. I did feel bad though about how it all played out and got to chatting with him. He hasn’t lived here too long. Came here for a job. Has no family and few friends since he works constantly. So I invited him to Thanksgiving dinner. It worked out really well and I think he had a good time. He even played Milo in a game of chess! :o)<\/p>\n Thanksgiving of course was amazing. I love that Holiday. I love food. I love to eat. Therefore Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday for me. We had the Butt family over for dinner. That was it. The other “usuals” we have were otherwise engaged this year. But it was so fun having them over. Ever since the Butt’s moved, we’ve missed them terribly so we try to get together as often as we can. The day was just spent cooking, eating, walking and eating more. Then we headed over to the church and met up with the Bennett’s and some of their extended family and played games and chatted and just had a great time. <\/p>\n Our pineapple turkey. This was a present from Alix’s seminary teacher. We enjoyed every bite of him….<\/p><\/div>\n This turkey was amazing, not only how it looked but how it tasted!<\/p><\/div>\n Scott makes the best homemade rolls.<\/p><\/div>\n Getting food prepared is one of the highlights of our Thanksgiving. The kids are helping more and more each year. I love it!<\/p><\/div>\n Alix making 7-layer dip.
