-Our annual ward Christmas Breakfast. The kids always love participating in the nativity portion of the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n Niah played Mary this year.<\/p><\/div>\n Afton was the “head” angle who talked to the shepherds. Keri was in the angle choir.<\/p><\/div>\n Our stage with the whole “cast”.<\/p><\/div>\n -The adult ward Christmas Party that included a rendition of the 12 days of Christmas featuring the best of some of our ward members. So fun!<\/strong><\/p>\n -We made our annual trip to the Crech exhibit<\/strong><\/p>\n -We made our annual trip to the Bethlehem reenactment<\/strong><\/p>\n The soldiers are one of our favorite parts of this reenactment. They do so good in their part.<\/p><\/div>\n Had to get a pic with the “hot” guard…..<\/p><\/div>\n Jaime, Jaime, Jaime…. I just don’t know what to do with that girl.<\/p><\/div>\n Alix figured if she can’t beat them she might as well join em.<\/p><\/div>\n The hot chocolate is always a nice touch.<\/p><\/div>\n This is one of my favorite parts. The angel literally appears out of nowhere to talk with the shepards. It’s awesome!<\/p><\/div>\n -We went to temple hill and saw the lights, enjoyed the spirit and heard a magnificent concert by Mr. King.<\/strong><\/p>\n We went to the Visitors center and watched the presentation of A Savior is Born. It was really good.<\/p><\/div>\n Then we walked around temple hill and saw all the lights and froze our behinds off. But it was so worth it. I love taking the kids to the temple.<\/p><\/div>\n Then we went into the auditorium and watched the Richard King concert. One of Milo’s scout buddies, Jason Hale, had a piano solo during the concert. What a cool accomplishment for him.<\/p><\/div>\n -We did our annual volunteer service to the Family Giving Tree.<\/strong><\/p>\n I love being the the warehouse and seeing all the gifts that will make little boys and girls so happy come Christmas morning.<\/p><\/div>\n One of our jobs this year was to go “shopping”. Keri had fun picking out things for little girls around 7 years old.<\/p><\/div>\n We also did a lot of wrapping this year. That was fun.<\/p><\/div>\n Jaime and Jessie ended up in a back room sorting and wrapping and listening to music. They loved it.<\/p><\/div>\n -Attending the family Christmas party at Scott’s work<\/strong><\/p>\n Milo stayed home to watch Lincoln. Jaime and Alix were both at school. It was geared for the younger crowd anyway.<\/p><\/div>\n I love how my girls’ faces look with their face painting.<\/p><\/div>\n Since Scott and I were going to the opening day of the new Star Wars Movie we did a little tribute.<\/p><\/div>\n -We celebrated my birthday<\/strong><\/p>\n The only picture of my birthday. But boy was that cake good. We took a regular cake mix and added crushed candy cane, then we added more crushed candy cane to the frosting. It was super yummy!<\/p><\/div>\n -We went to Christmas Eve Dinner at the Richie’s house<\/strong><\/p>\n Scott is so happy to be going to our annual Christmas Eve dinner.<\/p><\/div>\n Jaime somehow got ahold of the camera.<\/p><\/div>\n Performing their talent so they can have dessert. Our newest tradition. 3rd year now. I love the tradition.<\/p><\/div>\n It’s amazing to see this picture. The first year we did this we had two little girls and I was pregnant with Milo. Thanks Erika!<\/p><\/div>\n Kids opening their presents.<\/p><\/div>\n -We had a quiet, peaceful Christmas Day at our own home<\/strong><\/p>\n Our yearly tradition of gathering on our bed till everyone is there.
