I’m not sure I can call this journey over but it is certainly slowing down and so will the updates. I’ll update this website as Milo has appointments or other things come up. You may want to visit periodically to see if anything has been added but for now I just want to say THANK YOU!!
-To all the people who left comments. Milo took the time with me a couple of Sunday’s ago and we read through them. He smiled and laughed at the things you guys told him. He felt VERY loved. We all have.
-To Brittany for drawing Milo as a REAL super hero. He REALLY enjoyed that and loves to look at it time and time again. We’ll have to get those printed off and hung up for him.
-To all his doctors and nurses. You have made this journey that much easier.
-To all the people who have given him gifts. It seems kinda silly, but they really did make this go by faster and happier for him. He got so many new toys and yet each one brought a light of joy to his rather bleak month.
-To all the people who smiled and gave him high-fives. He really needed that assurance that everyone still loves him, despite his changed appearance.
-To all of his good buddies that came by and just played with him. They didn’t ask him questions or make fun of him, they just played with him. Especially Toby, Jackson, Mathieu, Sophie, Emilie and Ja-Zhen.
-To all the people who brought us dinner. It was much appreciated and enjoyed TREMENDOUSLY!!
-To everyone who has prayed for us and our family. We have felt of your love and have seen the miracles in our life.
-To everyone who has shared this website with others. We intended this to be a place where we could convey information to help not only those we know but perhaps those we don’t know. Feel free to share this website with anyone who might benefit from it.
THANK YOU for keeping us updated! I love these pictures. Looks like the Milo we know and love! Glad you’re feeling better Milo! Love you guys.
Hey, next time I see you I’ll give you the original pictures 🙂
I haven’t read the website for a while, but I kept praying for and thinking about you guys and especially Milo. I just took the time to catch up and it is a miraculous journey you have endured. Milo, you’re just as handsome as ever, and I can’t wait to give you a hug in person! I’m so amazed at your bravery and strength, buddy. You are an amazing little man. I am blessed by my association with you. I love you.
He is such a tough guy! I am surprised how quickly the halo came off but with that infection it’s a good thing they did take it off! He is probably so happy to have that off, I know that I was! I was so happy to eat normal foods again. Good luck with all the upcoming appointments!
