While Milo’s been sleeping, a lot has been going on with all the other Thompson’s. I’ve just spent so much time reporting on Milo that I have not taken the time to report on everyone else. So here goes…. (more…)
Ever since the kids were little, Scott would tell them that zucchini was really wagon wheels. So whenever I serve them the kids get all excited to eat wagon wheels.
The other night Milo’s friend Toby was over and we were having wagon wheels for dinner. He sits down and sees the plate…..
Toby: I hate zucchini
Alix: It’s not zucchini it’s wagon wheels. And the pioneers used wagon wheels and they would pull them through the dirt and mud and that is why these taste like dirt (smiling and takes a big bite).
Toby: Oh…..(and takes a big bite).
I have created a new site that will be dedicated to Milo and his surgery.
We will be fasting for Milo this coming Sunday, January 17. Anyone interested in joining us is more than welcome to. We are fasting for Milo’s quick recovery and that the doctors/nurses and everyone else will be alert, attentive and in tune so that the surgery goes well and without incident. Thanks for all the prayers and kind words on Milo’s behalf. We are truly part of a wonderful circle of family and friends.
