Friday November 12 was our first day in Brawley and it started with the kids admiring the pool. They knew that grandma and grandpa had gotten it ready for them so they were super excited. Ouch
So Milo had been complaining about a hurt tooth for a couple of months. We do have very good hygiene but sometimes I wonder if we get those back teeth as good as we should. So I just encouraged him to brush better back there and make it a priority to focus on that spot. It seemed to get better and he didn’t say anything for a couple of weeks. Monterey Bay
I love Monterey Bay. I think it’s beautiful. I think the aquarium is fascinating and I think the atmosphere is peaceful. Unfortunately, due to car sick kids we don’t get there very often. But once a year they offer a free homeschooling day at the aquarium and so we make a day of it. The last two years my friend Laura has carpooled with us and that adds a whole new element of fun. Halloween Fun #3
What’s Halloween without carving pumpkins? Well less mess for one thing…. But really, we love this activity and this year, thanks to the Google party, everyone got their own pumpkin to carve. We also had my sister with us and that was fun. AND the neighbors joined us. Laurant, Sophie and Emilie came over and carved their pumpkins at the same time. It was a REALLY fun night.
