After such a long day and late night on Friday, the fun did not stop!
Saturday morning we had to be out of the house by 7am to be at the swim meet on time (individual post on that). Grandma, Grandpa, Jaime and Keri waited at home till later and got some stuff done (yay for helpers!).
We got home a bit after 12 and worked like mad to be ready for Keri’s birthday party (individual post on that) that started at 2.
After that we worked like mad to get it all cleaned up and dinner made and eaten before 6:30 so we could make it to pack meeting on time (individual post on that).
It was an extra long pack meeting so once again it was a VERY late night after a VERY long day!
Sunday was “normal”. I think grandma and grandpa appreciated that.
The kids wanted to make breakfast in bed for Scott and grandpa. Of course that didn’t work out too well since Scott leaves at 6:30am and Grandpa likes to get up early. But the kids did make breakfast and had it all ready with the table set and flowers picked. Then we took some to daddy so he could eat it when he wanted too.
I think Father’s day was a success, even though there was not much ta do. I think we were all wiped out with graduation and Keri’s birthday. But we LOVE the men in our lives and appreciate them a lot. On Father’s day and every day!
We appreciated Grandma and Grandpa coming. It made the weekend go so much smoother. Thanks guys. Come anytime (although I think we wore you out… :o)
