Well, we are home! It has been quite an ordeal but it is finally over. At least for now! When I went to see him today, he was about the same as he was when I left him. He perked up a bit after they gave him some medication though. Read the rest of this entry »

We had a good day today. I got to the hospital about 7 am and relieved Scott of his duty. Scott did a great job taking care of Milo, finding out the scoop on the other patients and giving the nurses a hard time. Just shortly after he left Milo woke up not happy at all. Milo had a good night. Watched some TV, read some books and just rested.

I just talked with Scott and Milo is awake and rearing to go (at 8:30pm). He had an afternoon of on and off sleeping. When Scott went down to eat, Milo said he wanted to go too. So the nurse let him try. After sitting in a chair for just a few minutes, he threw up everywhere. Read the rest of this entry »

Milo was out of surgery by about 9:30 am. That was super quick! He looked great when we saw him. He woke up about 15 minutes later screaming in pain. Read the rest of this entry »

Sorry I’ve been so silent. It’s been a crazy week, well month really!!

Milo has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus. In other words he has been collecting fluid on the brain and his ventriculs are bigger than they should be which is putting pressure on the brain. That is not good. Read the rest of this entry »

Monday June 15 was Keri’s birthday. She had a dr appointment at 9 am. She did really well. She weighs 21 ½ pounds and is 30 inches long. She is healthy and happy. Read the rest of this entry »
